discoveries and invention just happened with very smart people and common individuals could asprie to rise up to the their level to create something unique on their own.
This was actually true through much of our history until a Russian scientist with a penchant for writing Science Fiction named Genrich Altshuller, or more formally known as Dr. Altshuller had an idea This bright curious mind had a thought. What if he could to begin research to understand the difference in how innovative people think and resolve problems. Soon the good doctor was inspecting the patent system with the help of his students to derive a framework that were common to all innovations, writing the informaton down and capturing exact proceedurs used to begin to begin creating a list make up of columns that was a record of actions and procedures common to all innovative ideas that improved existing system in addition to the those that occurred that had major impact on society such as the telephone, telegraph, then radio onto radar to the destructive atomic weapeans that exist around the world, those known and unknown.
These efforts morphed into TRIZ (pronounced 'Trees'). This is the acronym of the Russian name. When translated into English, it means "Theory of Inventor's Problem Solving". Evolving over time, TRIZ has grown into a collection of methodologies, tools, knowledge bases and model based technologies to generating innovative ideas and inventive solutions. Numerous colleagues, most with roots leading back to Altshuller and the pre-Soviet era of TRIZ known as 'Classical TRIZ' created companies in the western world after the fall of the Berlin wall and before Putin came to power.
The methodology used here is based on one such TRIZ varient called I-TRIZ (Ideation-TRIZ) that was developed with the collaboration members from the the original TRIZ team made consisting of TRIZ masters, colleagues and students of Dr. Altshuller. Bringing them together was the effort of Israeli entrepreneur Zion Bar-El creating the company named "Ideation, International " which has remained open for business since inception, the first company to create software to assist end users to walk through the steps and options that would generate new innovative ideas.
